Inicialmente, a comemora\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o tinha um dia fixo.<br>Muitos pa\u00edses se seguiram nesta iniciativa, tendo a primeira &#8220;Festa da \u00c1rvore&#8221; sido comemorada em Portugal, em 1907, estendendo-se estas comemora\u00e7\u00f5es, sobretudo durante o per\u00edodo inicial da 1.\u00aa Rep\u00fablica, at\u00e9 1917. (entre 1912 a 1915, decorreu o per\u00edodo \u00e1ureo das festas da \u00c1rvore, sendo 1913 o ano mais efusivo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><!-- \/wp:image --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>No Nebrasca (EUA), em 1872, face \u00e0 escassez de \u00e1rvores e florestas, a popula\u00e7\u00e3o decidiu dedicar um dia \u00e0 planta\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1rvores. Inicialmente, a comemora\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o tinha um dia fixo.<br \/>Muitos pa\u00edses se seguiram nesta iniciativa, tendo a primeira &#8220;Festa da \u00c1rvore&#8221; sido comemorada em Portugal, em 1907, estendendo-se estas comemora\u00e7\u00f5es, sobretudo durante o per\u00edodo inicial da 1.\u00aa Rep\u00fablica, at\u00e9 1917.
